Court lesson: Don't drive after drinking 10 stubbies
TEN stubbies during the course of a night were enough to result in a reading of 0.076 when 23-year-old Christopher Lee Newby was stopped at a roadside breath test site in the early hours of May 16.
Police also found the registration on the vehicle he was driving had expired a few hours before, on May 15.
In fining Newby $250 and disqualifying him from driving for two months, Magistrate Barbara Tynan told him if he had had that much to drink he should not have been getting into a vehicle.
