College leaders appointed

ELLIESE Ackermann and Caillum Coleman have been appointed school captains of Scots PGC College.

On the first day of the school year, along with vice captains Lachlan Jackson and Elizabeth Cowley, they were inducted in a packed school assembly.

Elliese said the leader group had plans to improve the school in the coming year.

"We want to try and bring the school closer together so the senior and younger grades know each other," Elliese said.

Principal Michael Harding said the leaders had proven themselves as responsible school captains.

"To hear the college captains address the assembly reflecting deep and genuine concern for the students and college was a true highlight for all," Mr Harding said.

"Caillum Coleman and Elliese Ackermann have set the scene for a memorable year."

Caillum said he was excited for the year and the chance to lead by example.

Year ahead

The captains suggested full school events to bring the grades closer together.
