Stitch-up or worthy winner?: Facebook controversy

THE Chronicle got stitched up this week and it has brought all of its critics together!

A screenshot of Aaron Grogs from his now iconic "Stitch-up at work today" video dominated the Facebook cover photo competition with an unprecedented 450-plus likes.

The competition asks followers to submit photos and the one with the most likes becomes the cover photo for a week.

However, The Chronicle chose not to use the photo because it was deemed inappropriate.

That decision caused uproar on Facebook even before the competition had closed, with many followers demanding it be used. This is what some had to say:

Should The Chronicle have made the "stitch up" screenshot its Facebook cover photo?

This poll ended on 20 September 2016.
