Child ‘unrestrained’ when crash happened
A CHILD is fighting for life in hospital after a car crash in Brisbane's north, with authorities claiming the six-year-old wasn't wearing a seatbelt during the accident.
Paramedics said the child was "unrestrained" in the front seat of the car when it collided with another vehicle on Kedron Park Rd at Kedron just after 3.35pm.
They were rushed to Lady Cilento Children's Hospital where they remain in a critical condition.
A man, believed to be the child's father, was also taken to hospital with lesser injuries, along with another adult from the second vehicle.
Investigations are continuing.
