Check out next year's show schedule and start creating

IT MIGHT still be the Christmas season, but before you can say "sideshow alley”, the Spano's IGA Stanthorpe Show will be here.

Organisers have been working hard behind the scenes to make sure everything is lined up for February 1-3 next year.

Show secretary Brooke Summerville said the schedule had now been released, with one key change.

"We will not be doing a mass print of the schedule this year,” she said.

"Instead they're available to download on the website.”

All the show's favourite events are back again next year, including ring events, cattle, sheep and wool, along with all the exhibits.

Ms Summerville is urging residents to prepare their entries early for the show.

"They'll need the time to create but it's important they check the requirements under the schedule,” she said.

"There will often be themes or an updated requirement that they should check before they commit too far into their project.”

Memberships for next year's show are also available from December 10, either through the show society website or at the new office at the showgrounds.
