A WOMAN and her little girl have been treated by paramedics after a car careened off the Sunshine Motorway this afternoon.

The car left the motorway near the Mooloolaba Rd turn off about noon.

The vehicle came to a stop in the grassy centre median strip.

Emergency services rushed to the scene to assist and sections of the north and southbound lanes have been briefly closed to allow Clayton's Towing to retrieve the vehicle.

Traffic was building in both the north and southbound lanes.

The accident was captured on a camera on one of Clayton's Towing vehicles.

A QAS spokeswoman said the 30-year-old female driver suffered neck pain and was put in a brace as a precaution. She was transported in stable condition to Nambour General Hospital.

The five-year-old girl was out of the vehicle and walking around while being comforted by Queensland Ambulance Service. She was not injured in the crash.
