VIDEO: Bubbles get the fun going in latest sports craze
HAVE you ever imagined playing sport while wearing a giant bubble?
Whitnie Kraatz and her friends found out what it felt like on Sunday, when they went to the CQ Bubble Sports open day.
The group saw a flyer for the event and thought it sounded fun, although they weren't exactly sure what they were in for.
"We've never had anything like it in Rocky before, so we thought we'd give it a go," Whitnie said.
The sporting world's latest craze involves people wearing inflatable balls, running around and bumping into each other while playing soccer.
"It felt so safe," Whitnie said.
"It was great fun; I'd most certainly do it again."
Whitnie said the sporting element soon went out the window.

"We couldn't' stop laughing," she said.
But Whitnie said it was also a great, fun way to get some exercise.
CQ Bubble Sports was set up by Rachel and Dino Tellan after they came across videos of the sport on social media.
"It's fun to do, you can't really get hurt... and you can work out while having fun," Rachel said.
About 70 people turned up to the business's first open day and Rachel said she'd love to see more people in Rockhampton give bubble sports a go.
She said they were planning to hold a sign-on day next month.
