Bring back happy '80s memories at trivia night
THE St Joseph's P&F Association are delighted with the interest and response to their upcoming 'Back to the 80s' trivia night on Saturday, April 28.
P&F president Daniel O'Dea said he was looking forward to the evening.
"It aims to be a fun-filled evening, bringing back happy memories of life during the '80s,” Mr O'Dea said.
"The questions have an '80s influence, which will appeal not only to the trivia buffs, but to those who lived the '80s.
"There will be a fantastic array of prizes on offer, kindly donated by our generous local community.”
The specially formed Trivia Committee are ensuring the night will be full of frivolity and fun. The special music round will be lavished with an '80s twist.
Trivia nights have been a popular favourite with not only the school's families but also the wider community.
Teams enjoy the friendly banter competing for the winning title and great prizes whilst avidly trying to avoid taking home the wooden spoon.
The '80s themed photo booth will be a highlight as many will be comfortable stepping back into the 1980 era when blue eye shadow and shoulder pads were deemed fashionable.
The fundraiser will continue once the trivia night has ended with a disco after party featuring DJ Wrenny who will ensure everyone gets down on the dance floor and grooves until late.
A full bar will be operating with BYO nibbles and food.
Some great prizes will be up for grabs for the winners and in a multi-draw raffle.
Teams of eight can register with the St Joseph's School office or phone the school on 46815900 for more information.
