Boy, 7, airlifted with head injuries

A YOUNG boy was airlifted to the Mater Children's Hospital on Friday evening after he was involved in a dirt bike accident.

The RACQ CareFlight rescue helicopter was tasked to a property 20km east of Emu Vale at 5.15pm to airlift the seven-year-old after he sustained minor head injuries after a dirt bike accident.

It is believed he collided with another dirt bike rider.

He was airlifted to the Mater Children's Hospital in stable condition.
