Bonnie’s up for REIQ honours

GYMPIE Laguna Real Estate saleswoman Bonnie Hollander is a finalist for the REIQ Queensland Residential Salesperson of the Year award.

More than 50 finalists from throughout the state have been selected for the 2014 REIQ Awards for Excellence, which will be announced at a gala event in February.

This year's awards attracted a record number of entries, especially in the Small Residential Agency and Residential Salesperson of the Year categories which has resulted in an historic number of finalists. REIQ chief executive Anton Kardash said the strong showing in some categories reflected the better market conditions generally across the state.

"The Queensland property market is heading into positive territory and our real estate practitioners certainly have more to celebrate than has been the case for quite some time," he said.

"Over the past 12 months, we have experienced improving consumer confidence and a more buoyant sales market which is great news for buyers, sellers and agents."

The awards will be held on Friday, February 7, at the Brisbane City Hall.
