COFFS Harbour has welcomed back the Blues with coach Laurie Daley and the players parading the State of Origin shield in the city centre.

Players posed for photographs and signed autographs with footy fans. 

Tomorrow the Blues will break from training at Novotel Pacific Bay to attend a series of school visits before staging a coaching clinic for junior players

Then its down to business for a side looking to reclaim the State of Origin shield that took eight long seasons to wrangle off the Queensland Maroons.
