Blue Light Disco helping raise funds for drought relief
THE Blue Light Disco is back in town, and next month it will be helping a very special cause.
On Friday, October 19 kids from Prep to Year 6 are encouraged to come along to the Support a Farmer Dance Party.
All the proceeds from this disco will be donated the the Queensland Country Women's Association Public Rural Crisis Fund.
The dance party kicks off at 6pm and the dancing will keep going until 8pm.
Country music and boot scooting is a definite for this dance party.
There will be plenty of hot food and snacks available for purchase from the canteen.
As always great prizes will be up for grabs including a lucky door prize and dance competitions all night.
The disco is on at St Paul's Anglican Church Hall on Corundum Street, Stanthorpe.
Parents are welcome to stay for the disco.
Entry is just $5 which will help go towards support this great cause.
This is the perfect opportunity to dust off the tartan shirts, get out your best boots and pick out a fun hat to wear to the dance.
The Blue Light Disco is a fun, fully supervised drug and alcohol free event.
If you go to one Blue Light Disco this year, make it this one and help support the farmers.
