Be bowled over at Pottery Club lunch

STANTHORPE Pottery Club is busy again, preparing for its Soup Lunch this weekend.

To be held on Sunday at the Pottery Club, the lunch will run from 11.30am-1pm.

Guests are invited to purchase a bowl for $12 and have it filled with hot or chilled soup.

A display of bowls can be found at Furniture One.

Terri Welles, accompanied by Lee Williams, will be performing on the day.

In conjunction with the Soup Day, an exhibition of the works of the late Heather Gregg will be on display. Heather was a longtime member and supporter of the Pottery Club and held many firing workshops on her Mossvale property.

Heather was an avid artist practitioner in many media apart from ceramics.

This exhibition will remain on display along with the club's current exhibition and may be viewed any Sunday during opening hours or at other times by appointment.

A much larger exhibition of Heather's ceramics is being planned for a later date.
