Bargains, buskers and art on show

WARWICK Christian College will be buzzing with the sounds of busking today as the school's annual fundraiser gets under way.

The Bargains, Busking and Arts Fair has been running for three years, although this is the first time the arts element has been included.

Photographers, sketchers, weavers, airbrush painters, dancers, buskers and quilters are just some of the artists set to sell, display or demonstrate their work at the event.

Teacher-in-charge Moira Coates said the arts aspect was added to the program as a way to involve a more diverse range of people.

The fair will run from 8am until 1pm today.
