The Bachelor contestant defends topless performer past
IT'S been a whirlwind week for The Bachelor contestant Leah Costa, who's been forced to defend her past as a topless entertainer after near-nude photos emerged.
Just one day after she was publicly rejected by Matty J during an ill-fated pash, photos surfaced showing Costa working as a topless performer and engaging in some racy behaviour.
The 24-year-old blonde has now defended her past, telling news.com.au she's not "ashamed" of her former career.
"It is true that I worked as a lingerie and topless waitress for some time," she said in a statement.
"This was to support myself in the early years of my Bachelor of Architectural Design degree. I am looking forward to finishing my degree this year and forging a successful career in the building/construction industry. My past job is not something that I am ashamed of, nor does it affect my aim to find love."
The photos are believed to have been taken in December and show the blonde wearing just a plaid miniskirt and heels.
Costa is then shown using a leather belt to spank a man, who has his pants pulled down to expose his buttocks.
But it seems Costa is not alone. Photos of fellow contestant Simone Ormesher have also emerged, revealing her past as a topless entertainer.

Simone's profile also appears on a website for Melbourne company Bar Babes. The business describes itself as "Melbourne's one stop shop adult entertainment agency".
Network Ten did not provide a statement before publication.
In her profile, 25-year-old Simone goes by the name "Katie".
