Baby inspires mum to be creative
BLEND together the wisdom of an experienced mum with some crafty skills, and you have a sure-fire recipe for success.
Ann Vandeplassche has not only been busy raising her 10-month old daughter Isabel, she's been making her look gorgeous in clothes, largely made by herself.
Mrs Vandeplassche has turned plain singlets into works of art, embellished with pearls and frills. She has also made matching underpants.
"I have to make sure they're baby proofed," she laughed.
"The pearls (will be) sewn on individually and everything is doubled threaded so it can't be pulled off."
The Warwick mum has plans to sell the clothes as a side business, but until then, you'll have to watch this space.
