Australian championships coming to Warwick this weekend

THE Queensland and Australian Super Sprint Championships are at Morgan Park Raceway this weekend.

There are 90 starters, including drivers from Victoria and one from South Australia.

"We have 20 drivers from New South Wales and drivers from as far north as Rockhampton in Queensland,” Warwick District Sporting Car Club vice-president Wayne Pfingst said.

Practice on Friday at 9-11.45am. Racing from 8.30am Saturday and Sunday.

Other events this weekend include senior club cricket on Saturday in Allora and both Saturday and Sunday in Warwick.

Warwick Aero Modellers fly day from 8am Sunday at Barclay Field at Morgan Park. All welcome.

The weekly parkrun will be at Queens Park from 7am Saturday and the Wattles Rodeo at Platz Oval on Saturday night following a rodeo school and junior rugby league clinic.
