Armed robbery at Highgate Hill

POLICE are investigating the armed robbery of a licenced premises at Highgate Hill last night.

Around 9pm, a man entered a bottle shop on Gladstone Road and threatened the male attendant with a knife while demanding money.

The attendant complied and the man left the scene with a sum of cash.

No one was physically injured.

The man is described as 180cm tall, of average build and was wearing a black and red jumper, black long pants, black face mask and gloves.
