Record-breaking $1.25 million home sells in Preston
ANOTHER real estate record has been smashed with the sale of a $1.25 million home in Preston - the highest price tag in the Toowoomba suburb's history.
Jen Taylor Properties closed the deal on the 20ha Rockmount Rd house after a five-week campaign.
An offer on the property was accepted before the call for tenders closed. Ms Taylor said the figures spoke for themselves and proved Toowoomba's million-dollar property market continued to gain momentum.
"Million-dollar plus buyers are out there ready to buy, waiting for their perfect property and are starting to look to outer-lying suburbs like Preston, Hodgson Vale and Flagstone Creek for the lifestyle features on offer," she said.
