A-grade teams determined

ALEX Costello took 5-22 with his leggies to spin Warwick Hotel Colts into A-grade premiership contention at Allora on Saturday.

In other games, Inglewood beat RSL Diggers by 10 wickets at Inglewood and Wheatvale scored a one-wicket victory against Sovereign Animals.

Teams have now been split into A and reserve grades.

Maryvale, Diggers, Wheatvale and Colts are in the A-grade competition with Allora, Inglewood and Sovereign battling it out in fixtures and finals in reserve grade.

Batting first, Allora was dismissed for 135. Matthew Kiernan made 38 and Shane Hooper made 29.

Costello took his wickets off six overs.

Colts replied with 8-137, Miles Benn top scoring with 48. Simon Young scored 37 and Aaron Veitheer took 3-24 off five overs.
