Stuart Law loos set to coach the Bulls
FORMER Queensland captain Stuart Law yesterday looked set to replace his mate Darren Lehmann as coach of the Bulls.
Law, who led his beloved state to five Sheffield Shield titles, including its first in 1994-95, told APN in June that he wanted to fill the vacancy left following Lehmann's departure to replace the sacked Mickey Arthur as Australian coach.
And the former champion batsman was meeting with Queensland officials late yesterday to finalise the deal.
Law was the high-performance coach at the Cricket Australia Centre of Excellence in Brisbane.
