Party held for jazz festival

HERITAGE is helping Warwick celebrate a cool winter as major sponsor of the Jumpers and Jazz Street Party today.

The street party is a free event featuring local musical performances and plenty of art and craft activities.

Branch manager Donna Neale Arnold said Heritage was proud to sponsor an event that supported creativity as part of its People First approach to doing business.

“Heritage looks for viable ways to give back to the communities which support us; not only through our competitive products and member service, but also by sponsoring events that bring our local communities together.”

After the biggest opening weekend in its history, Warwick Tourism and Events CEO Bev Marston suggested the second Jumpers and Jazz weekend would be massive.

“The weekend will feature a program of quality jazz on the big stage at the Heritage Building Society Street Party today,” she said.

“Markets and music will entertain at the traditional Picnic in Leslie Park tomorrow.”

The street party will take place on Palmerin Street from 10am-4pm today.
