Messi to face court for tax evasion

BARCELONA'S Lionel Messi looks set to face court for tax evasion after the Spanish high court rejected his appeal.

Messi and his father Jorge are accused of defrauding authorities of more than $A5.8 million, despite making a "corrective" payment of $A7.3 million in August, 2013.
