
Students turn up the talent
KILLARNEY State School Students greased back their hair and put their bobby socks on to entertain an audience of 300 parents, friends and community members at the School Variety Concert recently.
One thing was evident – Killarney State School’s got talent!
Class groups, along with winners from the Killarney School’s Idol quest, delivered a night of song and dance that will be remembered for the enthusiastic way in which all students performed.
Killarney State School will host about 200 Bashers this Sunday when the NSW Variety Bash stops over at the Killarney School for lunch between 11am and 2pm.
Killarney State School Hospitality students will cater the lunch.
Students will entertain the Bashers at lunch and Killarney residents are invited to go along on Sunday and join in the fun.
Killarney Pony Club will run a sausage sizzle for the general public and volunteers.
But the place to be this Friday morning is the Killarney Bowls Club, as the Killarney Lions Club presents the Killarney Daffodil Day Breakfast from 7am.
