Feelgood supports Cancer Council
DAFFODILS sprouted limbs and peddled for a cure at Feelgood Fitness during the weekend.
The floral symbol for the Cancer Council Queensland was the mascot of choice for about 60 people who participated in the four-hour spin-a-thon.
Fitness consultant Jeannie said it was a great opportunity to raise awareness about cancer and personal health.
“We had more than 60 people come and join in and we raised $300 for the Cancer Council,” Jeannie said.
“We had sessions from 8am to 11am. Some people did the whole four hours and some people did one hour – whatever they could spare in time and donations.
“It was great fun for a great cause and some dressed up as daffodils for the occasion.”
