'90s girl band TLC to make music comeback with hologram

TLC are making a comeback, with some rumours saying they may perform alongside a hologram of former star Lisa 'Left-Eye' Lopes.

The girl group have confirmed they will play The Mixtape Festival in Pennsylvania in late July alongside New Kids on the Block and Hanson.

Singer Rozonda Thomas last year said she would consider performing alongside a hologram of Lopes, who died in a car accident in 2002.

"The hologram is something we talked about and thought about years ago, obviously timing is everything but we're definitely talking about it," she said.

Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre made headlines when they performed with a hologram of dead rap star Tupac at Coachella last year.

The Mixtape Festival show will be TLC's first gig in four years.

TLC's second album CrazySexyCool sold 11 million copies and spawned two number one singles include Waterfalls and Creep.
