Motorbikes in action
ONE hundred and thirty motorcycles will be in action in the Southern Downs Challenge this weekend at Morgan Park Raceway.
A feature of the weekend will be the appearance of nine bikes with sidecars.

Opera in the vineyard
FANCY a dinner and opera concert this weekend, featuring two singers who are Joan Sutherland winners, Milica Ilic and Guy Booth?
When: Concert will be from 3pm tomorrow followed by a dinner and opera quiz in the Singing Lake Cafe.

Cowboys at home
THE Warwick Cowboys are hoping for a large turnout of fans for four games of rugby league on Sunday against Gatton at Father Ranger Oval. Both Warwick and Gatton are in the top five in A grade and the Cowboys are aiming to end an eight-match winning streak by Gatton.
When: Sunday, first of four games at 10.15am, A grade at 2.30pm.

Cost: $6 for adults, $4 children and concession, free for children under 14.
AFL in town
THE Redbacks play Dalby in a crucial AFL Darling Downs game at Slade Park tomorrow.
Last week, the Redbacks scored a morale-boosting win against Toowoomba Tigers.

POLOCROSSE action returns to the Southern Downs with the Cunningham Polocrosse Club hosting a carnival at Bony Mountain Recreation Grounds this weekend. Thirty teams are expected with open and junior games.

Cost: $10 for adults.
THE Warwick Karting Club will host 150 drivers in the Junior Challenge at the Sandy Creek Raceway this weekend. There is $5000 prize money up for grabs. There will be senior as well as junior classes.
