The Multi Award Winning Vine Inn Barossa Community Hotel is looking for a highly skilled, motivated hands on Professional to join our Management team.
The Vine Inn was first established in 1842 and is one of the States' oldest licensed venues.
In its current incantation it has a 350 seat Bistro and function centre, three additional function areas, two bars and courtyard and a 34-machine gaming room which would fall under the scope of responsibility of the incumbent.
Additionally, we have a large retail division along with 47 rooms of accommodation over two properties.
You would be required to work closely with the Hotel Assistant manager, Head Chef and CEO to ensure a seamless operation of your sectors of the business.
You would be responsible and accountable for the rostering, training, discipline and professionalism of your team of 26 personnel.
Skills in the H&L point of sale system are required as well as a strong understanding of TAB and Keno operations along with Loyalty systems and BOEN gaming operations systems.
This is very much a hands-on position and will suit a driven and focussed individual who wishes to join a motivated team of people in running our successful venue. The right candidate will have the chance to be involved in the ongoing succession plan of the venue.
If you do not yet reside in the Barossa you will need to be willing to move to the immediate vicinity and, as a Community Hotel, to become involved in our Community through either sports or community service groups.
